Salary: $21,539.75 - $30,729.24 Annually
Candidate must have completed thetenth grade and one (1) year of public contact or customer service experience or one (1) year operating medium commercial vehicles, passenger buses or streetcars. Twenty-one (21) years of age, safe driving record, pass background investigation and successfully complete periodic physical examinations as required by federal transportation regulations.
Licenses and Certificates : Valid Class "C" Driver License or equivalent from another state by time of application.
Under immediate supervision, attend and complete classroom and field training in operating passenger coaches and streetcars in a safe, courteous and timely manner.

Please note: This is a temporary position. This position will become a regular classified full-time position after successfully completing a 9-week training class and salary will then increase to $13.29 per hour.
Important: During the second week of training, you will be given a video exam which consists of 3 components: People Sense, Driving Techniques and Reading Skills. You must successfully pass each component in order to continue employment as a trainee. Scores will be provided not later than the 4th week of training.
