The ideal candidate will demonstrate cultural competence and have a history of responsiveness to community residents, library users, and library staff and be able to work collaboratively and harmoniously with Boards, Commissions, library staff, and other key stakeholders to achieve the Library's mission.
Any combination of the required experience, education, and training that would provide the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.
Graduation from an American Library Association accredited university with a master's degree in library science, and four (4) years of professional experience, which has included administration of library programs, including at least two (2) years in a management capacity.
