Special Requirements This position requires a valid driver's license at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment. The Examination Application Evaluation Exam The exam will consist of an application evaluation. It is essential that applications include detailed information with time frames regarding education and experience. The most qualified applicants will be contacted by the hiring agency for interview. The hiring agency may require specific skills related testing as part of the interviewing process. The following additional questions are part of this Recruitment 1) Describe your experience with tracking state owned water right. Explain proof of beneficial use and the difference between permitted and certificated right. 2) Describe your experience utilizing the Public Land Survey System to calculate parts of a government section of land. 3) Describe your experience performing calculations to establish land boundaries, highway centerlines and right-of-way limits. 4) Describe your experience writing legal descriptions of land, with emphasis on "metes and bounds" descriptions. 5) Describe your experience researching public records and interpreting records related to land titles, including researching, and obtaining title reports and creating title packages. 6) Describe your experience researching NDOT records for retrieval of information related to NDOT owned land rights. 7) Do you possess a certificate and/or license as a Professional Land Surveyor or Land Surveyor Intern? If so, please specify certificate and expiration date.
