The purpose of the class is to perform professional and technical work in the review and processing of plans for development within the County; to prepare GIS graphics for special projects; to assist in enforcing the County's zoning and subdivision ordinances, and to perform related work as required. The class works within a general outline of work to be performed, and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision.
Requires Bachelor's degree or education and training equivalent to four years of college education in urban or regional planning, landscape architecture, engineering or a closely related field. Must possess a valid state driver's license. American Institute of Certified Planners certification is desirable. Requires one or more years of experience.
