What You'll Be Doing The Wake County Child Care Subsidy Program provides financial assistance for parents for their child care needs. This childcare subsidy payment is based upon an assessment of need, income and family size. Each County receives an annual allocation of state and federal funds to be used for subsidized childcare services to its residents. The Child Care Subsidy Program receives additional funding from the Wake County Smart Start Program. In additional to providing financial assistance, the Wake County Child Care Subsidy Program provides information to the community on choosing and utilizing quality childcare. As a result of receiving quality childcare through the assistance of the Child Care Subsidy Program, children are better prepared for school success. We are currently seeking a Child Care Subsidy - Eligibility Caseworker I to join our team for a rewarding career that assists families in need.
