Project IMPACT, a Student Support Services (SSS) Program, is funded through the TRIO division of the United States Department of Education. The SSS program is a five-year grant (2020-2025), renewable annually. It provides undergraduate students with disabilities non-mandated support services, including academic advising, career planning, subject specific tutoring, scholarship guidance, graduate school advising, personal wellness counseling, assistive technology training, academic and personal skills building workshops, and financial aid and personal finance education support. The purpose of this program is to provide services to increase retention, student GPAs and graduation rates of students with disabilities. Under the general direction of the Director, the Project IMPACT Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing and monitoring all mandated services under the program, as well as providing direct service support in the above referenced areas. The Program Coordinator will be required to monitor the budget and ensure all program activities remain within grant-mandated limits; ensure all policies and procedures are followed as outlined in Federal, State and University guidelines in daily operations and decisions; conduct workshops in the areas of academic skills building, personal finance, financial aid, wellness, and assistive technology as mandated by the approved grant; and maintain all data, records and reports required by the grant program, including the Annual Performance Report, Annual Student Survey, and Graduation/Retention reports. May provide direct tutoring to a program participant when a tutor is unable to be secured in this same subject. Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities, including those with significant mental health challenges and those with developmental disabilities such as Autism. About the Position This is a part-time, 30 hour/week (.75 time base), temporary position through June 30, 2025, with the possibility of reappointment. In collaboration with the Principal Investigator for ASTEP (Aligning the Science Teacher Education Pathway) and the Principal Investigators at the six other campuses on this project (the Networked Improvement Community or NIC), the person in this position will oversee programmatic progress and provide leadership towards reaching the goals of dissemination of the no-cost extension year of this $3.6M NSF funded project. Additionally, this position leads the efforts in monitoring fiscal requirements of each of the sub-award campus, making sure they adhere to subrecipient agreements in place, collecting, evaluating, and analyzing research products related to the NIC and ensuring the goals of the ASTEP project proposed are achieved in timely fashion. Responsibilities Track budget provisions and restrictions, ensuring everything is compliant with all the regulations in place. Ensure sub-awards use funds for intended purposes and stay on-track to expend all funds by project end date. Manage deadlines for progress and financial reports/invoicing of grant deliverables. Analyze and identify compliance issues - oversee these issues as soon as they arise ensuring needs are addressed in a timely fashion, (i.e. Making certain the all sub-awards fulfill contract obligations by scheduled due dates). Maintain contacts and requirements for fiscal administration of ASTEP in collaboration with the ASTEP PI and budget analyst. Monitor, evaluate and analyze the project progress of all independent contractors. Ensure independent contractors fulfill obligations, complete deliverables on time and within budget. Procure data on a regular basis, supporting the goals of the grant in order to prepare the NSF final report and evaluate the robustness of the data- constantly controlling for quality. Development and leadership oversight of tracking mechanisms for sub-award terms and conditions. (i.e. Develop shared tracking sheet to monitor sub-award progress toward completing deliverables). Monitor timely submission and monitoring of invoice payments. Facilitate data collection and reporting to the PI for NSF reports. The Senior Analyst supports the Planning, Design and Construction unit in managing the financial aspects of public works / major or minor capital outlay projects, that vary between $100K and $300M annually. The Senior Analyst provides oversight and analysis for Facilities Management’s projects that are funded by campus contributions, university reserves, auxiliaries and self support units such as University Union/Well, University Enterprises (UEI), University Housing, University Transportation and Parking (UTAPs) as well as Chancellor’s Office funded projects including SRB bonds, major capital outlay, critical infrastructure, deferred maintenance, or Total Return Portfolio (TRP). Incumbent will maintain accurate oversight of financial and accounting records while utilizing tools such as internally developed project summary sheets, CFS budget reports, and specialized project management software. Incumbent administers various contract types, delivery methods and related documentation for advertised bids or Task Order Construction Agreements (TOCA), Task Order Service Agreements (TOSA), local and regional Job Order Contracts (JOC), and consultant, architect, and inspection agreements, by adhering to changing rules and regulations. Incumbent manages Fire Marshal payments and chargeback to all construction projects.
