THE POSITION The Park Maintenance Worker I is the entry level classification in the series. This position performs a variety of routine and semi-skilled park, public facility and ground maintenance work. This individual operates power equipment, assists in the repair, maintenance and construction of parks, recreation areas and public facilities. Assists in the entrance stations and in the training of others engaged in general park and grounds maintenance and repair. The Park Maintenance Worker II is the journey level classification in the series.
