Position Description Under general supervision, to conduct planning studies; to develop reports; to interpret and enforce zoning regulations; to make land use recommendations; to do related work as required. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: Planner I This is the entry-level position in the classification series. Senior Planner II Department of Community Development Please note: this position has the possibility of being underfilled as a Senior Planner I or Planner.
