This position is a short-term, temporary, hourly, Non-Bargaining Unit (NBU) assignment, not to exceed 160 days per fiscal year (July 1-June 30). Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Chief of Police, the Captain is responsible for the direct and indirect supervision of all personnel assigned to the Operations Division to include policy formation and execution.
