Job Summary This position reports to the AVP, Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management as a member of the SJSU IT Leadership Team. The incumbent assists the AVP in strategic planning, annual planning, operational excellence, business operations and human resources related activities while working in collaboration with leaders in IT to support the diversity and inclusion strategies. The incumbent is responsible for the overall project and portfolio management function by providing leadership, coordination, and management of the PMO & Business operation processes and functions. Directs and manages the day-to-day operations of the PMO & Business operations teams including budget management. This position is also responsible for marketing SJSU IT strategies encompassing all available channels including traditional PR, digital communications and more and oversees the technical writing function. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Arts Learning Specialist will work to cultivate arts for the benefits of all Nevadans with a focus on promoting and supporting lifelong learning in the arts. The Arts Learning Specialist manages the arts learning grant programs by reviewing and revising grant applications, recruiting review panels for grant awards, and approving grants. This position also manages the yearly Poetry Out Loud state competition including PR, event programs, payments, and student participation. The Arts Learning specialist manages grants, programming, research and generates awareness of arts learning through the facilitation of meetings, workshops, conferences, and written communication content. The Arts Learning Specialist will represent the NAC and arts learning at the local, state, regional and national meetings. Job Description JO B SUMMARY The Senior Control Systems Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of process control systems. Under limited supervision, the Senior Control Systems Technician is responsible for efficiently prioritizing, planning, and completing the workload as assigned. The technician works as part of the instrument and controls team to meet SAWS’ mission statement. The incumbent attends required safety training and follows all safety standards. E SS E N T I A L FUNCTIONS Performs complex maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, programming, and system administration of Process Control Systems (SCADA and DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), control and instrument loops, field instrumentation, chemical analysis systems, variable frequency drives, communication network systems, hazardous chemical distribution and detection systems, and HMI computer workstations.
