PURPOSE : Under the general supervision of the Assistant Athletics Director, Sports Administration, the Head Athletic Trainer is responsible for the development, organization, and administration of the CSUMB sports medicine program, including providing work direction to other athletic trainers. When injuries occur, the Head Athletic Trainer serves as the first responder by recognizing and evaluating the injuries, and subsequently developing treatment and rehabilitation programs, incorporating the appropriate therapeutic modalities and use of rehabilitation and exercise equipment. Provide athletic training room, game and practice medical coverage of intercollegiate teams as needed. Assist the respective coaching staff in designing and implementing rehabilitation, return to play, and conditioning programs as appropriate. Prevent, recognize, and assess athletic injuries. Implement preventative and rehabilitation programs to treat athletic injuries using the appropriate therapeutic modalities and treatments. Monitor all injury reports and rehabilitation plans and progress; advise and consult athletic administration on all major injuries and treatments not covered by the student-athletes insurance. Ensure proper maintenance and confidentiality of all medical records and follow insurance processing and procedures. Provide work direction to other Athletic Trainers, including assisting in employee selection, scheduling and assigning work, reviewing work of other Athletic Trainers, and providing input to performance evaluations. Ensure needed coverage for practices, home events, and team travel. DSD is seeking a Code Investigator with Commercial and Residential Neighborhood Enforcement division. This position will be primarily responsible for conducting investigations, case management and enforcement on reported property code violations of nuisance abatement, property maintenance, substandard, dangerous building code, zoning code violations and escalated complex cases. Position also serves as field trainer; facilitates evaluations, credentialing, and field training activities for operations personnel; providing support to field staff and coaching with difficult complex cases of code violations. Responsibilities include: adhering to all city codes process and procedures and support of the Code Supervisor as a lead for the following: supervising, reports, day to day operations, time sheet assistance and the preparation and review of complex cases for legal actions. Experience in Communication both orally and in writing is required. The position also performs as an investigative and procedural resource for the assigned zone, and conducts quality reviews on case reports to ensure compliance with internal standards. These may include: interviews with tenants/occupants, neighbors, contractors, workers, or property owners, to evaluate validity, determines if violations are present at the reported property and referrals of code violations to appropriate departments or agencies. Performs as an investigative and procedural resource for the assigned zone and conducts quality reviews on case reports to ensure compliance with internal standards. Evaluates research findings to determine appropriate compliance action and determines necessary corrective actions. Coordinates and monitors the improvement or remedy of the violations with the property owners, violators, or other City departments, which includes re-inspections. Coordinates notification of property owners or violators as required by code, regulation, or State statute for any action taken, which includes possible fines, fees, or charges for work performed by City-authorized third-party services. Documents all actions, complying with all division standards, taken from initial investigation through the attainment of compliance, abatement, or judicial/administrative referral. Assists in preparation of cases for legislative, administrative, quasi-judicial, and judicial bodies which may include providing witness testimony. Complies with all applicable security and safety rules, regulations, and standards pertaining to vehicles and personal safety. Responds to inquiries regarding registered complaints and their results.
