This position will serve as a bridge between the Secretary of State's Office and indigenous and rural communities. The selected candidate will possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and communication to indigenous and rural communities, facilitate communication, understanding, and collaboration. The main purpose is to establish positive relationships, address cultural nuances, and ensure the inclusion of tribal perspectives in decision-making processes. This role requires frequent engagement with the indigenous and rural community, conducting regular meetings to offer outreach efforts. This includes sharing information, addressing concerns, and fostering a collaborative relationship to ensure the community's needs and perspectives are effectively communicated and considered.
