Essential Job Functions

An Occupational Therapist I (OT I) provides occupational therapy services including evaluation and intervention and developing home and school activity programs for children and adolescents from birth to 21 years of age, with certain medical conditions. Duties include but are not limited to making appropriate recommendations and referrals per assessment findings; documentation within agency guidelines and participation in their case management; determining functional goals and developing treatment plan; and using treatment approaches appropriate to the patient's needs.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should possess desirable qualities such as strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent time management skills; ability to work with all levels of staff and diverse agencies; ability to work independently and as a team; and excellent organizational skills.
