Temporary Faculty Pool - Lecturer in Trombone Department Overview [ Department website ] The Department of Music in the College of Arts and Humanities at California State University, Fresno seeks applicants for an Temporary Faculty position, with the primary teaching responsibility of teaching trombone. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining and expanding the trombone studio in our growing and vibrant music program. The successful candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the Music Department and the College of Arts and Humanities. Position Summary [ course catalog link ] The department seeks qualified candidate(s) to teach undergraduate courses such as: Applied Trombone or other classes that may be identified as needed to fulfill educational goals of current students Instructor Responsibility : Temporary faculty members are responsible for adherence to and implementation of university and system-wide policies as directed per Academic Policy Manual 306 , paragraph 2. Instructors are responsible for the preparation, delivery, conducting, proctoring, and grading (as appropriate) lectures, office hours, homework assignments, quizzes, class projects, and midterm and final exams. All classes must be offered and meet as scheduled throughout the entire semester, in the mode assigned and listed in the schedule of classes (i.e. asynchronous, synchronous, in-person, or hybrid). The salary ranges are established by the CSU Salary Schedule (Class Code = 2358 for Academic Year Lecturers). The salary range for Temporary Faculty with a Master's degree is $4,530.00 - $6,056.00 per a month when teaching full time (15 WTUs). Assessing, developing, and aligning digital presence and marketing materials with University Communication standards. Oversees and maintains web presence for all EEIP programs. In collaboration with relevant staff, actively maintains all EEIP websites with accurate information. Recommends and implements streamlined information pathways, and develops new websites (within existing content management system). Monitors and reports on web & social analytics Plans, implements, and manages the daily and on-going online advertising/PR, SEO, social media, and external web presence for EEIP.
