Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll keep our organization running smoothly by installing and maintaining essential hardware and software, troubleshooting issues, and delivering exceptional customer service to staff across a wide range of technical systems-from computers and mobile devices to Audio/Visual equipment and telecommunications. Hours are typically 7:30 - 4:30 Mon-Fri with some flexibility to support business needs. This is
not a remote position.
Starting pay is $29.6799 - $35.6159 per hour.Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end-users (computers, phones, printers, A/V).
- Assist with equipment replacement cycles and maintain accurate asset management records.
- Provide excellent customer support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Document and track support tickets and resolutions.
- Maintain technical expertise and stay current with end-user device technologies.
- Participate in team meetings, project updates, and cross-department collaboration.
- Create internal and user-facing knowledge articles and training materials as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to test and implement technology improvements.
QualificationsExperience:- 2+ years of IT or technical support experience.
- Experience handling customer support calls in a Help Desk environment.
- Knowledge of PC hardware, Windows OS, basic networking, and common office software.
Education:- High school diploma or GED required.
Skills & Abilities:- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and stay current with technology trends.
- A passion for helping people, solving problems, and working with technology in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and transport equipment and work in varied physical environments.
