Nevada County Community Development Agency is seeking an Administrative Analyst to provide agency-wide assistance including support for Recreation, Climate and Economic Development Objectives. This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals in the entry-level or journey-levels to, under direction, provide technical assistance, analysis, and preparation of documents for a wide variety of assignments and related work. Furthermore, individuals are expected to be knowledgeable in public administration, fiscal administration, principles and practices of research and analysis, and computer hardware and software typically found in offices.
Major duties include: - Grant research, coordination, writing, and administration
- Assistance with meetings and public events
- Memo, resolution and contract writing
- Assistance in implementation of CDA-Wide coordination efforts
- Public outreach assistance
- Project assistance, as assigned
- Analyzation of proposed legislation
- Safety Officer
- Customer Service Enhancements
- Leadership efforts including preparation of newsletters, training and employee recognitions

Education and Experience RequiredEducation: Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, economics or a related field from an accredited college or university,
Experience: One year of experience in administrative, budget or personnel analysis, preferably in a public agency.
*Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis to a maximum of two years.
