    Position Description
    Coordinates a section in a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program or departmental project as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and/or students.

    Major/Essential Functions
    • Oversee and facilitate the enrollment process for a designated cohort of School of Nursing students, ensuring accurate and timely course registration.
    • Regularly review and monitor student degree plans to track academic progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance for successful program completion.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for students, providing proactive support, guidance on academic requirements, and timely responses to inquiries.
    • Serve as a liaison between the enrollment team and departments such as financial aid, academic advising, and student affairs to improve communication and streamline student services.
    • Plan and coordinate key student events such as orientations, advising sessions, and workshops to support engagement, retention, and academic success.
    • Develop and maintain desk manual with specific written procedures on the daily requirements specific to the employee's role and responsibilites.
    • Maintain accurate student records, track enrollment trends, and generate reports to support decision-making and student success initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with students, faculty, staff, and other key stakeholders to enhance student support services.
    • Participate as an active part of the Office of Wellness and Retention team in planning and decision-making of the division as well as the development of policy and procedures to support the work of the division. As needed, may be called upon to assist in other areas.
    • Work closely with leadership to review, develop, and refine enrollment policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and institutional goals.
    • Create a welcoming and positive environment for students, staff, and faculty to ensure the interaction is an efficient and satisfying experience.
    • Provide clear, professional, and timely communication to students, faculty, and administration regarding enrollment, program updates, and deadlines.
    • Address student concerns, troubleshoot enrollment challenges, and adapt to evolving institutional policies and program needs.
    • Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities for entry-level enrollment staff and student assistants to ensure consistency in service delivery and adherence to institutional policies.
    • Supervise student assistants as assigned.
    • Utilize student management systems, such as Banner, to manage student data, track academic progress, and facilitate enrollment processes.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to high-quality customer service by anticipating student needs, ensuring a positive academic experience, and fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize the use of student management systems and other enrollment-related technologies to improve accuracy, efficiency, and the student experience.
    • All other duties as assigned by the Unit Assistant Director of Enrollment and/or Assistant Dean of Wellness and Retention.


    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal six (6) years.
