Position Description: Duties: - Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
- Promotes and maintains positive and effective working relationships and promotes good public relationships as a representative of Licking County Government. Maintain professional ethics in keeping the confidentiality of information and materials.
- Documents and tracks all requests for services; prepares and reconciles contracting agency invoices/payments as needed; Records LCT receipts; makes daily deposits with the Licking County Auditor as needed.
- Maintains fiscal records and financial statements for the LCT in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and fund practices following accounting procedures in accordance with local, state and federal policies, rules and regulations; presents financial documents to the Fiscal Manager and Executive Director for review as needed.
- Assists with preparation of purchase orders, contracts and budgets
- Assists with distributing and tracking invoices/payments to vendors, contractors, contracting agencies, etc.;
- Audits driver coversheets to verify time, mileage, breaks and lunch entries. Maintains and updates driver time tracking spreadsheets and weekly hours. Records driver attendance metrics including sick leave and vacation usage.
- Compiles, analysis and distributes daily ridership data.
- Assists with grant writing and reporting processes; maintains and presents various reconciliation spreadsheets/reports for summaries of grant expenditures.
- Conducts wage surveys and analyses as needed.
- Implements, updates, maintains and presents LCT internal accounting system and various spreadsheets, charts, and tables for cost analyses and reporting purposes;
- Assists with preparing working papers and schedules in conjunction with annual state audit and federal triennial review;
- Serves as back-up to Data & Performance Analyst and Fiscal Manager.
- Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable PERRP safety standards that pertain to the essential functions of the position and all agency safety procedures.
- Remains informed of current developments and procedures pertinent to duties; may be required to attend seminars/training.
Brief Description: Provides direct support to the Fiscal Manager by assisting with financial accounting functions for Licking County Transit. Performs routine fiscal tasks and data analytics, helps maintain accurate financial records, and ensures compliance with local, state and federal funding requirements.
Job Prerequisites: Minimum Qualifications:Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and three (3) to five (5) related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation: Salary: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
