Position Description
Performs advanced, specialized work to assist in the organization and implementation of various projects. Supports by maintaining, repairing or refurbishing commonly used medical equipment; creatively designing or adapting equipment to meet specific needs. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records. Perform preventive maintenance functions. Works on special projects as assigned. Work is performed under minimal supervision within established policies with latitude for independent judgment.
Major/Essential Functions- Completion of repairs within allotted timeframe.
- Completion of preventive maintenance for medical equipment based on PM schedule region wide.
- Completion of moving designated equipment or items as needed.
- Travel throughout sector to complete service repair or preventive maintenance as needed or scheduled.
- Designated projects will be assigned and completed as scheduled.
- All other duties requested will be completed as assigned and scheduled.
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Six years of experience in related field.
- Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
