The City of Irvine seeks individuals to take on key customer service roles in the development of Irvine’s new, locally operated, and world-class public library system. The
Part-time Library Page , under direct supervision, will perform a variety of clerical and manual tasks for library operations, events, and programs.
These positions are part-time with a flexible schedule, up to 19 hours per week, some evening and weekend availability required. Multiple positions exist! The ideal candidates have a strong attention to detail and an interest in library services.
Experience with customer service and library operations is desirable.

Interview: After a thorough review of applications, those candidates deemed most qualified as reflected in their application will be invited to an interview.
Background Check : A thorough background investigation will be conducted prior to appointment.
Medical Examination: A medical examination will be conducted, including a drug/alcohol screening and proof of a negative TB test to ensure the ability to perform assigned duties. Any applicant who tests positive or tampers with evidence shall be disqualified from consideration.
Future Vacancies: This recruitment may be used to fill future positions in similar and/or lower classifications within the organization.
