Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for
Supervising Respiratory Care Practitioners who supervises Respiratory Care Practitioners, Respiratory Therapists, Pulmonary Function Specialist, and other support staff. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory therapy services in a patient care unit on an assigned shift; evaluate the work of respiratory personnel which includes completing work performance evaluations; provide in-service training and education to therapist and other hospital personnel; coordinate equipment; provide outpatient diagnostic oversight; participate in staff scheduling and perform the full range of respiratory treatments and tests which includes blood gas laboratory diagnostic testing.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application. Shift differentials are provided.

Minimum RequirementsCandidates must possess
ALL of the following:
License: Must possess and maintain a current California State License issued by the Respiratory Care Board of California.
Registration: Must possess and maintain a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Certifications: Must possess and maintain
ALL the following certifications:
- Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Experience: Three (3) years of extensive experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner treating patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.
Desired QualificationsSupervisory or lead worker experience overseeing respiratory staff as well as excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office is highly desired. A Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy is preferred.
