Job Summary: The Utility Systems Analyst is responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of Pulse’s business-critical software and systems, including financial platforms, OSS/BSS, CRM, integrations, APIs, and operational applications, systems, and back-end functionality. This role ensures seamless system performance, effective integrations, and reliable data flow to support business operations. They will collaborate with stakeholders to refine system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements that align with Pulse’s strategic objectives and operational requirements.
This is an exempt position. The salary range for this position is
$84,012.24- $113,416.00 per hour with a hiring range of
$84,012.24 - $98,
714.41, depending on qualifications and experience.

Essential Functions: - Manage and maintain core business systems, including OSS/BSS systems, financial and operational platforms, CRM and custom-built workflows and automation.
- Configure, optimize and monitor software applications, databases, APIs, and middleware to ensure stability and efficiency.
- Oversee system updates, patches, and enhancements to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across integrated systems and troubleshoot errors in real-time.
- Design, develop, and implement system configurations, scripts, reports, and automation workflows to improve efficiency.
- Leverage automation and scripting languages (Python, SQL, JavaScript, and other object-oriented programming languages) to optimize workflows and reduce manual processes.
- Manage integrations between business systems, ensuring seamless communication between internal platforms and third-party applications.
- Develop and maintain API connections and interfaces that support business operations and cross-system data exchange.
- Ensure proper version control and documentation for all system changes, custom applications, and workflows.
- Analyze system usage and data flows to identify inefficiencies, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Generate reports to support decision-making across teams.
- Work with stakeholders to refine business processes and align system functionality with operational needs.
- Elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders to enhance system functionality.
- Provide training and guidance to teams on system capabilities, best practices, and workflows.
- Assist with risk assessment and change management strategies when implementing new technologies or modifying existing systems.
- Lead system implementation projects, including scope definition, configuration, development, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and execute test plans for new features, integrations, and system modifications.
- Work with leadership to identify pain points in business operations and recommend technology-driven solutions to meet business needs.

Qualifications: Education: - 4 Year/ Bachelors Degree: Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
Experience: - Required: 3 years Progressive experience in enterprise business applications (OSS/BSS, CRM, ERP, and financial platforms).
- Preferred: 3 years Salesforce administration or developer certification
- Preferred: 3 years' Experience in telecommunications industry.
- Preferred: 3 years' Experience in cloud-based platforms and SaaS administration.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Deep understanding of CRM, OSS/BSS, financial platforms, and operational business systems.
- Experience developing and managing API connections, ensuring seamless data flow between internal and third-party systems.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript, or other object-oriented programming languages to automate and optimize workflows.
- Ability to configure and maintain enterprise applications, middleware, and databases for peak performance and stability.
- Strong understanding of best practices for data governance, security protocols, compliance, and risk management.
- Capability to analyze operational workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose technology-driven solutions.
- Skilled at diagnosing and resolving system issues quickly while minimizing business disruption.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users, train teams, and align system capabilities with business needs.
