    The City of Palo Alto is looking to find the next Assistant Director - Open Space, Parks, and Golf. The City seeks a proven leader to guide the team to the next level of excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience with contracts and budgets, collaboration, consensus building, and engaging with internal and external partners. They will possess outstanding written and oral presentation skills. Successful candidates will have a BA and eight years of experience overseeing parks and natural open spaces, including maintenance, capital improvement projects, golf course management, and community service or related experience, including five years at a management level.

    The annual salary range is $172,890 - $259,334 with a robust benefit plan that includes generous contributions to health insurance, commuter benefits, paid parental leave, childcare assistance, and employees may apply to send their children to the award-winning Palo Alto Unified District Schools.
