The Ambulatory Care Clinic Coordinator plans, manages and coordinates the day-to-day administrative support activities at the assigned Health Center. They are also responsible for overseeing employee and facility safety, and equipment maintenance; and performs related work as required.

What you will typically be responsible for: - Coordinating essential clerical activities at the various County health clinics
- Collaborating with Risk Management
- Working with security to identify safety risks for the clinic
- Ensuring mandatory trainings on fire drills, environment of care and OSHA regulations are completed by staff
- Coordinating with Public Works to ensure the completion of projects, building repairs, and all work orders
- Collaborating with outside vendors to manage clinical equipment repairs
- Understanding clinics cleaning specifications and how they interconnect with the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center procedures

The eligible list established from this recruitment may remain in effect for six (6) months. Minimum QualificationsEducation: Possession of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency, or high school proficiency certificate.
Experience: Four (4) years of full-time experience performing administrative support duties in an acute care hospital, outpatient clinic, health services agency, or mental health program, at least two (2) years of which were in a supervisory capacity.
Substitution: Possession of a Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Health Care Administration, Public Health Administration, Business Administration or Public Administration may be substituted for one (1) year of full-time administrative support experience.
Selection ProcessApplication Filing and Evaluation: All applicants will be required to complete a supplemental questionnaire at the time of application. Applications will be evaluated to determine which candidates will move forward in the next phase of the recruitment process.
Virtual Oral Interview: Candidates who possess the minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in an online video assessment. The assessment will measure candidates' competencies as they relate to the job. In the assessment, candidates must achieve an average passing score of 70% or higher on each of the competencies, as well as an overall passing score of 70% or higher.
