Position Summary:
Responsible for administering and maintaining access security systems and protects hospital assets and data. Acts as an information security liaison to stakeholders and business units and the IT department to assist with identity and access management design, implementation, and interpretation.
Job RequirementEducation/Experience:Equivalent to an Associate's Degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or closely related field and three (3) years of current experience in enterprise identity and access management, system review, audit, or IT security systems.
Licensing/Certification Requirements: EPIC security certification or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire and one (1) industry recognized IT Security certification in the disciplines of access management and/or security configurations.
Additional and/or Preferred Position Requirements- One (1) of three (3) years of experience must be in a current enterprise identity and access management role.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Physical RequirementsKnowledge of:IAM technologies, security protocols, technology integrations, SSO, scripting and automation, risk management, compliance and regulations, identity lifecycle management, IAM best practices, cloud IAM, formal access reviews, role-based access concepts (RBAC), zero trust concepts and practices, file system permissions, Microsoft Active Directory systems, and application of appropriate technologies; enterprise information security systems and implementation; securing different types of systems like web, database and remote access systems; industry standard security policies and procedures; department and hospital safety practice and procedures; patient rights; age specific patient care practices; infection control policies and practices; handling, storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials; department and hospital emergency response policies and procedures.
Skill in:identity and access management, scripting and automation, access review, MS Active Directory Systems, complex problem solving, and identifying and remediating access risks; be decisive and be comfortable working in a team or independently; integrating identity technologies, performing root cause analysis, assessing and responding to identity incidents and risks, critically think, writing professionally, resolving conflicts, adapting to changing situations, and being creative and innovative; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all personnel contacted in the course of duties; communicating effectively in oral and written form; using computers and related software applications; communicating with a wide variety of people from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all personnel contacted in the course of duties; efficient, effective and safe use of equipment.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard office equipment, stamina to remain seated and maintain concentration for extended periods of time, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate effectively in person and over the telephone. Strength and agility to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
