Current vacancy exists with the Sheriff's Department. Note: The resulting eligible list may also be used to fill other vacancies as they occur throughout the County. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT 1) Background: Prior to appointment, applicants will be fingerprinted and must pass an extensive background investigation, including a polygraph examination. Applicants must not have been convicted of a felony.
2) Travel: Travel throughout the County maybe required and employees will be required to make provisions for such transportation.

A list of coursework must be submitted with the application if an associate's degree or higher has not been conferred. - AND -Experience: Two (2) years of paid full-time equivalent professional experience in Graphic Design using the following computer programs:
- Adobe CS6 or most current Creative Cloud applications which include Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Web programs (Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash)
This experience must be clearly detailed in the Work Experience section of the Application. Qualifying degrees must be completed at a college or university accredited by an accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. In addition, degrees completed outside of the U.S. must be accompanied by an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service indicating equivalency to degrees or coursework completed at the college or university accredited by an accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education.
Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, knowledge of PC and Mac platforms, and experience in web design, video production, and multimedia programming. An established portfolio is highly desirable. Additionally, demonstrated knowledge in the following areas: Prepress, CTP, Layout and Pagination processes and/or Software.
