Job Summary: Provides a variety of support functions to the Golf Professional including, but not limited to: providing excellent customer service to all golfers, promoting the game of golf for all three Loveland golf courses, freely providing accurate information on the rules golf and developing new leagues and tournament opportunities. This position reports to the Golf Professional.
The salary range for this position is
$27.47- $38.46 per hour with a hiring range of
$27.47 - $32.97, depending on qualifications and experience.
This opportunity will be available to applicants until Monday, 2/17/25 at 12:00 P.M. M.S.T. Essential Functions: - Coordinates with the Golf Professional the opening and closing of the facility.
- Supervises temporary employees and assists golf play activities on the course.
- Collects green fees.
- Markets golf program.
- Organizes tournaments and leagues.
- Assists with all aspects of golf shop merchandising and trains golf shop employees.
- Prepares and maintains records in regard to daily revenues, monthly and yearly summations, and bank deposits.
- Maintains rental equipment and coordinates with maintenance to ensure playability of course.
- Enhances the image of the Loveland golf courses and City of Loveland through quality customer service to all golfers.
Other Job Functions: - May assume Golf Professional duties as needed.

Job Level and Management Expectations:
Supervisor for Temporary and Limited Benefitted Employees - May monitor day-to-day operations. May provide direction to direct reports following standard
practices and procedures. - May oversee tactical operations of support or trade employees.
- May make recommendations regarding personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or

Qualifications: Education: - High School graduate or GED required.
- Some college-level coursework in business, marketing or related field preferred.
Experience: - 2 years golf course experience. Education and/or credentials in related field may substitute time in industry.
Certifications: - Prefer Class A membership in PGA or LPGA.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of principles and procedures of golf shop operations.
- Knowledge of standard computer operations and related software applications with word processing, spreadsheets, and golf-related programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and citizens; handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy; communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to train seasonal employees; organize golf leagues and tournaments.
- Merchandising skills.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions: - Frequent l ight to moderate physical effort that includes frequent standing or walking or maintaining arms and hands in the same position for repetitive tasks. Frequently works with light objects and light hand tools.
- Frequent e xposure to heat and noise along with working outside in the elements.
- Occasional e xposure to routine office noise and equipment.
- Occasional e xposure to hazards typically found in general office environments where there is rarely to no exposure to injury or accident.
