Pay Grade: - Working towards a J.D./Graduate Degree - $24/hour

Position Summary:The goal of Norfolk County Juvenile Court is to introduce the student to juvenile delinquency and child welfare matters and to enable them to gain a better understanding of this field of law. The intern, under the supervision and guidance of the
First Justice, will assist with a variety of duties that will support the daily operation of the office. The intern should be able to provide a broad range of skilled and confidential administrative support. In addition, the First Justice may assign the intern responsibility for longer term projects. The intern will report to the Dedham Juvenile Court, but travel to our other two sites (Stoughton and/or Quincy) may be needed.

Minimum Requirements: • Working towards a Juris Doctorate from an accredited school of law.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to analyze and solve problem.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written forms.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
