    What you will typically be responsible for:
    • Identifying and resolving system-related problems promptly with the primary focus on delivering services to the Library department and the branch locations
    • Monitoring and optimizing IT system performance
    • Providing technical assistance to users, ensuring smooth operations
    • Enforcing security protocols to safeguard sensitive information and maintain data security
    • Performing data backup management regularly and ensuring recovery readiness
    • Collaborating on projects by contributing technical insights to cross-functional IT projects
    • Administering hardware components by handling installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, maintenance, and vendor coordination
    • Providing documentation to track hardware configurations, incidents, and solutions to ensure effective IT management and troubleshooting

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education: Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information processing or a closely related field.

    Experience:
    Three (3) years of full-time or its equivalent experience in designing, installing, and helping to maintain complex multi-site Network Server Operating Systems, Systems administration including storage, virtualization and cloud.

    Substitution: Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of four years.

    Desirable qualifications:
    • Apple Device Support: Deep understanding of Apple device ecosystem
    • JAMF PRO Experience: Knowledge of JAMF PRO MDM platform and operations
    • Cloud Expertise: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or other cloud technologies


    Selection Process

    Application Filing and Evaluation: Applicants will be required to complete a supplemental questionnaire at the time of application, applications will be evaluated to determine which candidates will move forward in the next phase of the recruitment process. Training and Experience Evaluation: Candidates will be required to complete a training and experience questionnaire at the time of filing. The responses to the training and experience questions on the supplemental questionnaire will be used to evaluate candidates' relevant education, training and/or experience as it relates to the Network Administrator I classification. (Weighted 100%)

    CONVICTION HISTORY

    DISASTER SERVICE WORKER
