    THE POSITION
    Come join the hardworking and fun staff at the Town of Prescott Valley. Ensure the safety of citizens as they are enjoying the pool and splash pad at Mountain Valley Splash.

    Examples of Duties

    In this position you will:
    • Manage front-line customer service staff at the pool concession stand, ensuring staff can provide accurate information regarding site location, hours of operation, and daily activities.
    • Handle scheduling for office staff and ensure adequate coverage of the front as well as the concessions stand. Also be able to cover shifts in emergency situation.
    • Audit daily cash register receipts to confirm accurate balancing and prepare daily bank deposits.
    • Oversee inventory audits and assists Recreation Coordinator with restocking.
    • Verify staff is maintaining cleanliness of concession stand and office areas, including ensuring all Health Codes and standards are met.
    • Collaborate with other leads and the Aquatics Coordinator to ensure the facility is operating proficiently.


    Typical Qualification

    Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required with a minimum of one (1) year of customer experience in a lead role preferred.
    • Must possess a current Food Handler's Certification.
    • Food Manager Certification
    • Candidates may be required to pass a background check and must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
    • Must be at least 16 years of age
    • This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to random drug screening.
    • First aid, AED and CPR certification preferred.

    Compensation:

    This is a seasonal position that may work up to 6 months depending on the workload and performance.

    Hourly pay range is $16.54 to $17.37. Seasonal employees are entitled to earn paid time off and accrue a minimum of 1 hour of general leave for every 30 hours worked.
