Epic Manager - RN who provides solutions, manages multiple highly complex projects, and financial resources within an operational service line to meet business needs and security requirements . The Epic Manager - RN will be responsible for the daily activities of small and large teams engaged in the installation and maintenance of one or more Epic Modules using data, information and knowledge to both improve the delivery of healthcare services and improve patient outcomes. The emphasis is placed on the classification’s critical nursing leadership role and planning; organizing and leading staff in the integration of informatics and healthcare information technology into the workplace to inform decision making and provide patients with efficient, safe and innovative care.

ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. License: Must possess and maintain a Registered Nurse license with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
Certification: Incumbents must possess and maintain Epic certification in their assigned module. Some positions may require incumbents to obtain and maintain additional vendor specific certifications on the applications supported. Additional Epic certifications must be obtained within six (6) months of notification from a supervisor and/or management team. The Clinical Informatics Department reserves its right to extend beyond six (6) months if the core training class schedule falls outside of this period. If certification is not obtained after six (6) months of notification or the dedicated extended time allowance, the incumbent’s employment will be terminated.
On-Call: Incumbents may be placed
"On-Call" for nights,weekends and holidays depending on the certified module.

Minimum RequirementsCandidates must meet
one of the following options:
OPTION 1 License: Must possess and maintain a Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Experience:- Three (3) years as a supervisor on an Epic team (or similar Electronic Health Record System) doing builds, system configurations, informatics, or similar duties for an acute care hospital, large healthcare organization, or in an Ambulatory Care setting.
- AND - - Two (2) years of Registered Nurse experience working in an acute care hospital, a large healthcare organization, or in an Ambulatory Care setting.
OPTION 2 License: Must possess and maintain a Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered.
Education: An Associate’s degree in Nursing.
Experience:- Five (5) years as a supervisor on an Epic team (or similar Electronic Health Record System) doing builds, system configurations, informatics, or similar duties for an acute care hospital, large healthcare organization, or in an Ambulatory Care setting.
- AND -
- Two (2) years of Registered Nurse experience working in an acute care hospital, a large healthcare organization, or in an Ambulatory Care setting.
Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have five (5) or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse with experience managing nurse professionals on an Epic team. An Epic certification is highly desirable.
