We are looking for energetic, outdoor-loving people ready to dive into roles such as Lifeguard, Aquatic Feature Attendant, Concession Worker and more!     AVAILABLE JOBS

    Must be 14 or older

    Admissions or Concessions Workers- $13.50/hr

    Aquatic Feature Attendants- $13.50/hr

    Must be 15 or older

    Lifeguards- $15.50/hr

    Head Lifeguards- $16.50/hr

    Must be 18 or older

    Beach or Pool Managers- $20.50/hr

    Admissions or Concessions Managers- $18.50/hr

    The Lifeguard is responsible for monitoring pool and other aquatic areas to provide assistance and protection to participants.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provides a safe, fun recreational experience by enforcement of rules and delivering excellent customer service; represents the City of Olathe and demonstrates positive public relations.
    • Monitors pools and other aquatic areas to ensure the safety of swimmers; rescues distressed persons, using rescue techniques and equipment; a pplies first aid to those in need and contacts emergency medical personnel in serious situations.
    • Inspects equipment and maintains the facility to ensure safety; m aintains cleanliness of facility.


    Qualifications

    Experience: Must must be at least 15 years of age or older.

    Education: None required.

    Licenses & Certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate, Waterpark Certificate and CPR Certificate are required.
