The IT Application Analyst Senior role is pivotal in leveraging the Microsoft Application Suite to design, implement, and maintain robust technological solutions for the department. The analyst will assist with data management tasks such as data scrubbing, maintaining data integrity, and building detailed reports using tools like Power BI and Excel to inform decision-making. Additionally, the role involves evaluating and recommending tools or upgrades within the Microsoft ecosystem to ensure compatibility and performance improvements. Other duties include providing technical support, resolving complex system issues, and developing and maintaining technical documentation. The analyst will also support disaster recovery planning, perform quality assurance tasks, and ensure application security standards are met. Travel:
If you are selected for this position and meet the Driver Safety Standards in the City of Austin Driver Safety Program, you may drive when necessary to multiple locations as part of your regular job duties. Otherwise, you are responsible for getting to and from these locations.
Pay Range
$35.50 - $45.27

Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Core Business Hours)

City Government
The City of Austin is a progressive, full-service municipal organization operating under the Council-Manager form of government. Austin has a 10-1 council system with an at-large Mayor and Council Members that represent ten districts. The Mayor and Council Members may serve in their respective seats for four years with a maximum of two consecutive terms.
