The State Bar of California seeks a visionary consultant for a transformative engagement to reimagine the California Bar Examination. The ideal candidate will possess:- Proven expertise in innovative assessment design and testing technology implementation
- Extensive experience developing and modernizing high-stakes professional licensing examinations
- Demonstrated success in large-scale examination transformation projects
- General understanding of psychometric principles and test validity requirements
- Strong background in public protection mandates and evolving legal competencies
- Superior stakeholder management and consensus-building capabilities
- Sophisticated political acumen and change management experience
- Track record of balancing innovation with maintaining rigorous testing standards
- Experience engaging effectively with diverse constituencies and perspectives
