There is currently an excellent employment opportunity for a full-time Clerical Supervisor in Public Health Clinic Services, and the incumbent will be primarily located in Central Contra Costa County. Public Health Clinics provides school-based health services to children and school aged students up to 19-20 years of age with mobile clinic health vans and through satellite health centers, located on campuses in West, Central and East Contra Costa County. In this position, you will work directly with the Director of Clinic Services and oversee the clerks and the Public Health Mobile Clinic Operators in the unit.

Minimum QualificationsExperience: Four (4) years of full-time or its equivalent clerical experience, one (1) year of which must have involved supervisory responsibility. One (1) year of experience at the Clerk-Senior or Lead Specialist levels or comparable level in Contra Costa government employment may be substituted for the required supervisory experience.
Other Requirements: Appointments to certain designated positions may require that a portion of the requisite work experience be in a specialized area.
Selection ProcessApplication Filing and Evaluation: Applicants will be required to complete a supplemental questionnaire at the time of application, applications will be evaluated to determine which candidates will move forward in the next phase of the recruitment process.
Online Clerical Skills Test: Qualified candidates will be emailed a link to take an online multiple-choice test. Candidates will be evaluated on necessary knowledge and skills that may include but are not limited to clerical skills, mathematical ability, grammar and vocabulary, interpersonal skills, and customer service. (Weighted 45%)
Online Supervisory Skills Test: Candidates who pass the clerical skills test will be emailed a link to take an online multiple-choice test. Candidates will be evaluated on necessary knowledge and skills that may include but are not limited to managing performance, leadership, handling & resolving conflict, establishing credibility, adaptability, reading comprehension, and decision making. (Weighted 55%)

Online Supervisory Skills Test: January 30 - February 4, 2025
