    Job Summary



    Join our dynamic team and take on the rewarding role of leading our AMI work crew! As the AMI Team Lead, you'll oversee utility customer service efforts and act in the capacity of the AMI Supervisor in their absence. Your responsibilities include directing personnel, ensuring efficient workflow, overseeing equipment maintenance, and handling administrative tasks. Additionally, you'll maintain AMI operational excellence by managing device connectivity, coordinating projects, managing databases, and fostering collaboration with various departments.     Essential Job Functions

    Leads and supervises the work of personnel by prioritizing and assigning work duties, observing and monitoring work tasks, providing feedback to employees, evaluating work performance, assisting employees to correct deficiencies by providing training as necessary, conducting meetings, and providing assistance as needed. Plans and secure materials/equipment, ensures assignments are completed in a timely manner, inspects work, provides problem resolutions, investigates, and respond to customer issues, Facilitates project management by overseeing installations and maintenance of the AMI Repeaters & Collectors, monitors and maintains over 140 AMI devices, troubleshoots, splice, and repairs AMI ERT’s. Assists Safety Team in creating safe work zone requirements, mitigate risks, work environments, and training needs. Completes administrative duties by preparing daily work orders, preparing various reports, monitor inventories, reviewing damage loss reports, and performing routine maintenance. All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager within the department/division.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education: Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature that may be obtained with six months/one year of advanced study or training past the high school equivalency. Junior college, vocational, business, technical or correspondence schools are likely sources. Experience: Over two years progressively responsible experience in similar related work to the division assigned, including experience in the AMI operations. Licenses: Valid Texas Class C Driver's License and Class C Water Distribution license.
