Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is looking for Social Service Practitioners II and III. Social Service Practitioners provide assessment, intervention and case management support to individuals; groups, children and/or families with complex health, psychosocial or economic problems. This position requires investigating and/or supporting cases involving neglect, abuse, emotional or behavioral problems, physical/mental disabilities or other health conditions. Cases may frequently involve assisting clients with emergency situations and assessment of risk, safety, and bio-psycho-social welfare.

Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school. Minimum Requirements
Social Service Practitioner II Education:A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a school accredited by the Council of Social Work Education.
Experience: No experience required.
Social Service Practitioner III Education:A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a school accredited by the Council of Social Work Education.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a Social Service Practitioner in San Bernardino County or equivalent experience to a Social Service Practitioner in San Bernardino County.
Candidates in Final Year of Master's Program: Applications will be accepted from candidates who are within 120 days of completing a qualifying degree provided they meet the minimum requirements for experience at time of application. Job offers may be made contingent upon degree completion; verification of qualifications will be required prior to hire.
