- Providing technical consultation for laboratory testing protocols
- Reviewing QC logs weekly for sections assigned to oversight
- Performing evaluations and competencies for CLS staff
- Conducting administrative functions to include payroll, counseling, and HR requests

The eligible list established from this recruitment may remain in effect for six (6) months. Minimum QualificationsLicense Required: Candidates must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment a valid and unrestricted Clinical Laboratory Scientist license issued by the California Department of Public Health.
Experience: Three (3) years of full-time (or the equivalent of full-time) experience as a licensed senior scientist in a clinical laboratory performing varied clinical tests and analyses.
Other Requirements: A background investigation/fingerprint and/or physical exam may be required prior to the start of employment.
Desirable Qualifications:- Experience in general laboratory processes and testing procedures
- Understanding counseling and clinical laboratory competency assessments
- Knowledge of the Joint Commission Survey accreditation process
- Knowledge of validating laboratory analyzers and lab protocol testing procedure development
- Quality assurance and quality improvement experience
- Understanding of CLIA and CMS testing requirements
