    Pay Range: $71,661 - $93,159 annual compensation

    Workdays & Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm; Some evening/weekend work required.

    A Management Analyst II position is available with the City of Fort Worth’s Property Management Department. The position is assigned within the Administrative Services Section of the General Services Division and provides administrative support for the Fleet & Facilities Divisions.

    The Property Management Department is seeking a Management Analyst II to perform a wide variety of complex analytical support duties related to organization analysis, budget preparation and monitoring; analysis of complex systems, procedures and operations; design and implementation of improved systems, procedures and methods; and to perform a variety of analytical and administrative tasks related to assigned area of responsibility.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
    • Two (2) years of experience in the analysis of processes, procedures, operations, systems or methods, including experience in the functional area of assignment such as budget/financial management, research analysis or related experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of the municipal budget process, principles of fiscal accountability, as well as knowledge of budgetary and financial compliance needs of governments.
    • Proficient in using Excel to include creating formulas and linking worksheets, PowerPoint with ability to create, modify and present in an appropriate format and Word with ability to concisely convey complex financial information to both City executives and the general public.
    • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, or similar ERP Financial suites.
    • Experience with Fleet Management Systems.
    • Experience with Asset Management Systems.
    • Experience with Questica or equivalent budgeting systems.

    The Management Analyst II job responsibilities include:
    • Supervising staff, which includes prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff is trained and a succession plan is in place; ensuring employees follow policies and procedures;
    • Participate in the development, analysis and formulation of the Fleet Services & Facilities Management annual budgets; develop guidelines and instruction for the Fleet & Facilities sections on budget processes and procedures;
    • Review requests for staffing and capital outlay; forecast funds needed for staffing, equipment and various projects;
    • Prepare financial forecasts; identifying possible budget overruns; coordinating appropriate solutions with upper management;
    • Assist in the preparation of departmental budget presentations;
    • Participate in special projects including research of existing and new programs and services and present reports;
    • Perform wide variety of analytical support duties related to organizational analysis;
    • Conduct benchmark analysis and concisely communicate those results both verbally and in written form.

    Medical Program

    The City offers two plan options through Meritain Health, an Aetna company.

    The Health Center Plan – Offers employees and their family’s

Also, services are available at any one of the five satellite locations that serves employees across the city.

    Vacation

    Eligible for 3 weeks of vacation: After successful completion of probationary period (usually

    Holidays

    Available on the first day of employment, the city provides employees with paid holidays, including two personal holidays.

    Wellness Program

    The city’s Healthy Challenge Wellness Program rewards all full-time, benefit-eligible employees on the city’s health insurance. The Healthy Challenge Program utilizes a points system. Participants may earn points throughout the year (Jan. 1-Dec. 15) for completing specific program activities and participants can redeem points at the end of the year for a cash reward. By participating, individuals can earn $150, $200 or $250 by accumulating program points.
