Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work closely with two Principal Investigators, who are CSUN faculty in the Management Department, on applied projects with the City of LA. The primary function is to organize the activities of these applied projects, which include data collection, report writing, and project management.
- Schedule of data collection, meetings
- Conduct data analysis
- Report writing
- Meet with client and internal meetings
- Develop data collection materials (e.g., surveys, focus group protocol) Invoicing and project management
- Data collection
Qualifications: REQUIRED:
- Undergraduate degree and some graduate coursework in sociology, social work, psychology, business, or similar; Experience working with the City of Los Angeles; Data management and data analytic skills; Active listening and rapport building skills; Experience working with community-based organizations that target low-income families; Experience writing reports; Experience conducting program evaluation work; Experience working with Microsoft Excel and SPSS; Highly conscientious and reliable; Experience with research project management; Experience managing graduate students; Knowledge of research methodology; Experience working in a consultant role.
PREFERRED:
- Chinese language speaker. Knowledge of Community Investment for Families Department; Knowledge of the Family Source System.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).
The anticipated hiring range:
$25 - $30 an hour Time Base:
