General Description and Classification Standards
The Fleet Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s vehicle fleet operations. This role involves analyzing fleet data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key duties include tracking vehicle usage and maintenance, coordinating repairs, and monitoring fuel consumption. The Fleet Analyst will also evaluate vendor performance, prepare reports on fleet metrics, and provide insights to guide decision-making on vehicle acquisition and lifecycle management. Additionally, this role ensures adherence to safety protocols and participates in developing policies for fleet sustainability.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management, including involvement in equipment analysis, specifications, and the purchasing process.
Equivalent professional experience may be considered as a substitution for the required degree on an exceptional basis.
Licensures and Certifications
Valid Georgia Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Essential Capabilities and Work Environment
Required physical capabilities, including lifting and sensory skills, to perform job duties effectively.
