The JobCalling All Interested Students!San Bernardino County's Sheriff's Department, Coroner Division has an exciting internship opportunity for students interested in death investigations, law enforcement, forensics, or a field that is closely related. This is a perfect opportunity for students looking to enter the criminal justice field and apply their coursework with this hands-on internship opportunity.
Students will rotate within the Coroner's Division and learn and observe the following: - How to do an effective investigation.
- Observe the operations of working in the morgue.
- Learn how to work with the indigent and unidentified population.
- Learn how to perform clerical tasks associated with the Coroner's office and learn the role of a Public Administrator.
This is an unpaid opportunity with great exposure to the County! Students must be enrolled at one of the following colleges or universities:

Minimum RequirementsMust be enrolled in criminology, anatomy, pathology, forensic science, or a closely related field from one of our recognized colleges, universities, or trade schools.
Desired QualificationsStudents are encouraged to provide a letter expressing interest in the Coroner/Sheriff internship program.
