    Position Summary

    but may be used for other ambulatory locations when needs arise.**


    Position Summary:

    Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, applies the nursing process to deliver basic, safe, therapeutic care and administering medications for individuals or groups of patients. May provide patient care in a specialty area but not limited to: medical/surgical, labor and delivery, PEDS, and the emergency room. May work with high risk patients.

    Job Requirement

    Education/Experience:
    Equivalent to graduation from high school and one (1) year of clinical experience as a LPN.

    Licensing/Certification Requirements:
    Current License by the Nevada State Board of Nursing to Practice as a Practical Nurse, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA).

    Additional and/or Preferred Position Requirements

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Minimum one (1) year of recent Adult Primary/Quick Care Experience;
    • Prior relevant clinical Experience as an LPN in an acute care hospital or similar setting.
    • Must be able to pass TSA Background Check upon hire.
    • Current IV Certification.
