ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical examination, and verification of employment history and education.
Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application

Minimum RequirementsCandidates must qualify under
ONE of the following options:
OPTION 1: One (1) year of experience in which the primary responsibility is in
supporting Epic applications (i.e., troubleshoot; assist and instruct end-users in effective use; resolve problems).
OPTION 2: Two (2) years of experience in which the primary responsibility is in
supporting Electronic Health Record (EHR) business applications (i.e., troubleshoot; assist and instruct end-users in effective use; resolve problems).
NOTE: General IT experience (unrelated to Electronic Health Records) is not considered qualifying. Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess:- Knowledge of Epic functionality in any app as an end-user.
- Six (6) months experience in a clinical or health care organization role
- Experience providing technical assistance, training, and support in the use of a electronic medical record (Preferably Epic).
- Currently hold an Epic Credential/Certification or willing to complete a six-week program to obtain credential in assigned application.
- Background in providing daily system support to staff including troubleshooting problems with the system to ensure proper resolution and functionality for end users.
- Participated in the Epic Superuser.
- Demonstrate ability to collaborate with computer training business partners to maintain effectiveness of training programs.
- Participation in 1 or more Epic implementations as an end-user or Epic trainer.
