  • Job Description

    General Description and Classification Standards

    To plan, organize and coordinate the maintenance of documents, storage, preservation and disposition activities involved in the management of a wide variety of departmental correspondence; and to perform related work. Under general supervision, this class is responsible for planning and coordinating the activities involved within the Administration division in Aviation providing support to the Human Resources team. Incumbent will perform technical document management duties, develop document management systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective purging, retention, and permanent storage of documents and coordinate their implementation with management.

    Supervision Received

    Performs work under general supervision with review and advice from manager or a senior level.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, communications or related field. (Additional professional experience may be considered for substitution for the required degree on an exception basis).

    • 2 years of documented relevant work experience.

    Preferred Education & Experience

    • Master’s degree in business, administration or communications.

    • 2 - 4 years of directly related professional work.

    Licensures and Certifications

    None required.
