    Position Description
    Supports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.

    Major/Essential Functions
    Proficiency in office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with adult learning principles and educational program development is preferred. Prior experience in credentialing, CME compliance, or production of educational content for professionals is highly desirable.
    1. Adheres to TTUHSC and departmental operating policies and procedures
    2. Assist in meeting the Joint Accreditation defined Educational Leadership criterion by partaking in continuous professional development relevant to CME enterprise.
    3. Serves as a representative of the CME office.
    4. Serves as an authority on accreditation requirements for the production of CME activities, an expert on event planning, and guide on adult education principles.
    5. Produces educational activities for the healthcare team.
    6. Manage the process of converting educational content into enduring materials, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
    7. Lead the development of in-house podcasting to diversify educational offerings.
    8. Accurately enter data for PARS reports to meet accreditation and reporting requirements.
    9. Prepares activity documents and maintains department files and records.
    10. Manages on-site logistics for educational activities.
    11. Concludes educational activities.
    12. Develops, tests, and implements CME activity outcomes measurement surveys and tools.
    13. Identify and assess the continuing medical education needs of institutional departments.


    Required Qualifications
    High school plus six years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
