Salary Range: $58,596.01 - $78,092.30
General Description and Classification Standards
Manages engineering projects, which includes engineering design and review, data collection and analysis, field inspections, utilizing GIS, AutoCAD, and other engineering software applications. This is the entry level for this job family. Individuals entering this level must already possess the basic professional knowledge arising from a pertinent degree program. Assignments should be predominantly professional in nature.
Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or industrial engineering or related engineering or science degree. Three (3) years of experience in surveying, engineering design, inspection, and drafting.
Preferred Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or industrial engineering or related engineering and 5+ years of experience in engineering design, inspection or drafting and knowledge of Water / Wastewater Operations and Maintenance.
- IBM Maximo Experience
- Advanced Knowledge of SQL, VBA and Data Analytics
- Master’s degree could supplement experience
Licensures and Certifications
Engineer in Training (EIT/FE) required. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
