DescriptionTHE POSITIONAdministrative Support II is the second of three levels in the Administrative Support series. This class requires advanced knowledge of administrative functions, grant administration and related functions, computer skills, data and document processing and customer service principles. Incumbents are under general supervision, performing routine to highly complicated administrative support in an assigned area.

we encourage you to apply!Examples of DutiesIn this position you will: - Prepare all necessary documentation required for grant applications, including forms, narratives, financial statements and supporting materials. Submit grant information as mandated, by the deadline provided.
- Handle highly confidential records including personnel files, training and time and attendance records. Apply personnel policies and guidelines in processing timesheets, leave requests and personnel action forms.
- Provide management with general to highly skilled administrative support in the delivery of department programming and services.
- Compile fiscal and budget data for analysis. May assist with contract administration to include preparation and tracking of Request for Proposals, annual service contracts, capital improvement projects and related bid processes.
- Create, update, and maintain basic to complex spreadsheets, reports and databases. Verify and tabulate data. Run reports and databases queries as requested.
Typical QualificationRequirements:- Requires High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent with a minimum four years experience in an administrative or similar support function. Two years college coursework may be substituted for one-year of work experience.
- Ability to pass an extensive pre-employment background including driving record through the Police Department.
- Must have strong office and computer keyboard skills and intermediate proficiency within MS Office and web-based software applications.
- Skilled in grant writing, grant submission, maintaining financial reporting and program reporting.
- Must have exceptional customer service, communication, organizational skills and team member skills.
Compensation: The Town's complete compensation package includes salary, benefits, and a high performance culture. The Town package includes a no-cost to individual health insurance plan and a generous retirement package including participation in the Arizona State Retirement System.
The hourly range is $24.84 to $34.78.
The expected hiring range is $24.84 to $28.57.

Part-time regular employees:
- General Leave:125 hours the first 5 years then increasing after 5 years.
- Holidays: Eleven (11) paid holidays; Six(6) hours per day for PT employees.
