JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an adjunct faculty member to teach ECTS 5180/6180: Field Work in Designated Subjects . This hands-on course gives students the opportunity to practice teaching in a real-world environment. Students will plan lessons, deliver instruction, and be evaluated on their teaching performance by on-site supervisors. As the instructor, your role will be to oversee student progress, provide mentorship, and ensure that students meet the necessary teaching standards for career and technical education (CTE). You will play a key role in helping future educators develop practical teaching skills, reinforcing theoretical knowledge with applied practice.

• Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population and to working effectively with faculty, staff and students across a wide range of disciplines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree or higher in Career and Technical Education or a related field.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in hand by time of appointment. (Master’s Degree or higher)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience supervising fieldwork or student teaching assignments.
• Evidence of scholarly activity, publication, and innovation is valued. Evidence of exemplary graduate-level teaching and leadership experience at program level is preferred and should be noted in application.
