    Salary: $20 per hour

    Job Type: Full-Time, Apprenticeship (1-Year Program)

    Posting expires: October 25, 2024

    The ATL Enforcement Apprentice will gain hands-on experience in enforcing the City of Atlanta ordinances related to vehicle-for-hire services, traffic, and parking regulations within Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. This apprenticeship is designed to develop the skills necessary to fill vacant ATL Enforcement Officer positions.

    Qualifications Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED.

    • Must pass a background check based on Atlanta Police Department standards.

    Certifications and Training:

    • "CJIS Network Operator Certification" from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Training Center (5 POST credit hours).

    • Additional In-House training, On-The-Job Learning (OJL), and classroom training (Related Training & Instruction - RTI) provided in partnership with Atlanta Technical College.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

    • Ability to learn and apply traffic and parking enforcement regulations.

    • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
